Synagogue wall display

Kaluach Kir is the latest in a long line of Kaluach products, specially designed for use in a synagogue. Features include: automatic reminders of tefilla changes, zmanim, display of custom times (for minyanim, shabbat, and shiurim), the addition of short announcements, color customization, background picture with adjustable transparency, display of pictures in rotation (for announcements, holidays, etc).

One program can be used for a multitude of uses. For the sanctuary or beit midrash, where a static display is desired so as not to annoy those praying or studying, the screen only updates when information relevant to the tefillah has changed – based on changes in the Hebrew date or pertinent zmanim (halachic times). For the lobby or entrance of the synagogue, additional screens can be added for announcing special events or semachot. Kaluach Kir can be configured as a memorial (yahrzeit) board, able to display an unlimited number of memorial plaques.

Kaluach Kir runs on any standard Windows computer (XP or higher) and can be used with any size computer display that you want – although a wide screen is recommended to allow the most flexibility and nicer appearance. The computer can be closed up in a closet or behind a panel, and the screen can be built into the wall or synagogue furnishings.
