Locations in Kaluach
Kaluach displays halachic times based on the user’s location. The default locations are Jerusalem and Pittsburgh, but this can be changed easily. Built-in lists offer common alternatives. If the location that you want is not found in these lists, you will have to find the coordinates for your desired location elsewhere.
Most world atlases have the coordinates noted next to the location in the index. If you don’t have an atlas, or your location isn’t in the index, you can reference the following geographic location resources:

- Canada’s Official Geographical Names Web Site
- Getty Thesaurus of Geographic Names
- Microsoft Expedia Maps – Place Finder
- The JewishGen ShtetlSeeker
- In Yo' Place - (ver 1.00) Program for finding the longitude and latitude of over 20,000 cities in the United States of America.
